The Thrift Shop at First Presbyterian Church Verona has closed due to the recent surge in COVID-19 cases.

The shop, which is usually open Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., was planning on closing for the month of January, but due to the uptick of cases in town has decided not to open this week.

The shop hopes to reopen at the end of February as originally planned. Updates on the shop’s status can be found on its Facebook page.
