Mr. Patrick A. Filoso, Sr., 79, died on October 14, 2021.
Visiting will be in the Prout Funeral Home, 370 Bloomfield Ave, Verona, on Monday, October 18 from 4 to 7 p.m. A funeral mass will be offered in Our Lady of the Lake Church, Verona on Tuesday at 10 a.m.
Pat was a lifelong resident of Verona, graduating from Verona High School in 1960. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force and graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida with his bachelor’s degree and commercial pilot license.
He returned to Verona and joined his parents, Lou and Lilyan, at Hillcrest Farms & Greenhouse, a family business now being run by his wife, Barbara and son, Pat.
He was known for his kindness and generosity. He loved his Verona community, friends and family.
He will always be remembered by his beloved wife, Barbara; loving son and best friend, Patrick, Jr., Pat’s wonderful wife, Amanda and their children, (who always brought a twinkle to his eye) Rita, Holly and Louis. He is also survived by his daughter Jennifer, her husband, Kevin Kiernan and his granddaughter, Kylie.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Verona PBA, Local 72 or the Verona Rescue Squad would be appreciated.

I just found out Pat passed away last week . My condolences to Barbara and the entire Filoso family . I sure Pat is doing some landscaping on heaven.
