Town Council To Meet In Person Again

The Verona Town Council will be meeting tonight, Monday, June 21, and for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic came to Verona in March 2020, the meeting will be held in person in Town Hall as well as online.

Among the items up for a vote are Ordinance No. 2021-14, an amended plan for the redevelopment of the property on Sunset Avenue now occupied by the Spectrum 360 school; Ordinance No. 2021-15, a zoning amendment prohibiting the
operation of any kind of cannabis business in town; and Ordinance No. 2021-18, which will create a $176,000 bond to fund the updating of Verona’s Master Plan and zoning code.
