Mrs. Patricia (nee Santillo) Roma, 82, died peacefully on June 3, 2021 in Glen Ridge.

Visiting will be held in the Prout Funeral Home (370 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona) on Tuesday, June 8 from 4 to 8 p.m. A funeral mass will be offered in Our Lady of the Lake Church, Verona on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Condolences may be left at proutfuneralhome.com.

Born in Newark, Mrs. Roma grew up in East Orange before moving to Verona in 1967.

A lifelong caregiver to family and friends, she worked as a billing secretary for Primemark Healthcare Systems in Orange and as a medical office assistant in the Essex County area.

Mrs. Roma was active in the Christian Family Movement (CFM), the Convalescent Aid Program (CAP) and Liturgy planning at Our Lady of the Lake Church.

She was predeceased by her sister, Giovina Ricigliano.

Mrs. Roma is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years, Robert “Bob” D. Roma; loving children, Leslie Young (Andrew), Michael Roma (Sharon) and Alisa Stafford (Michael); cherished grandchildren, Chelsea (Alex), Jennifer, Deanna, Taylor, Michael, Devon, and Shayne and her great-grandchild, Harper.
