The Spotlight Player’s Parent Association (SPPA) kicked off its annual Flamingo Flocking Fundraiser by “flocking” new members of the International Thespian Society.

The following students were flocked and inducted into the organization on Tuesday, June 1: Sofia Albanese, Daphne Glatter, Colvin Kramer, Jack McHugh, Jimmy McHugh, Ian Ostermayer, Audrey Ng, Mike Murphy, Maddie Suk and Olivia Tedesco.

Additionally at the ceremony, the following seniors were awarded scholarships by the SPPA: Cailan Compierchio, Isabella Hussar, Griffin Willner, Emily Wynne and Alison Zanders.

The Flamingo Flocking funds the SPPA’s scholarships. Anyone can pay $20 to send a dozen pink flamingos to a lawn in town for a 24-hour period. The fundraiser will run through June 11 this year and you can find out more about it here.
