It is with deep regret and sadness that Denise Lysette Fink, 52, passed away suddenly on March 30, 2021 at her home in Jersey City.

Born in Frankfurt, Germany on May 12, 1968, she moved with her family to Verona where she graduated from Montclair Kimberly Academy. She went on to graduate from Tulane University with a BA degree in Political Science and Art History. Denise furthered her education by earning a JD from Touro Law School and later settled in Jersey City.

Denise “Lysette” had a deep passion for cooking, enjoyed gardening in her back yard, and music. Her best times were spent traveling the world, enjoying time with her friends, and watching her favorite soccer team, Barca, with her Penya FC Barcelona NYC.

She is pre-deceased by her mother, Frances Fink (nee Bower). Surviving is her father, Dr. David Fink; sister, Dana Topper (Michael); nephew, Matthew Topper; uncle, Robert Fink. Also surviving are many loving relatives and devoted friends.

A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at Shook’s Cedar Grove Funeral Home located at 486 Pompton Avenue, Cedar Grove, NJ 07009 on Saturday, April 10, between noon and 2 p.m. Live-streaming will begin at 1:15 p.m. To attend virtually, please visit her page at shookscedargrove.com and click the webcasting icon.
