Verona is getting ready to open its new Community Garden and it is accepting applications to lease one of the raised beds. The Community Garden will be located next to H.B. Whitehorne Middle School behind Municipal Parking Lot #1.
It will cost $50 to lease a 4′ x 8′ bed and if you are interested, you must fill out a request form here: https://www.veronanj.
Applications must be received by 4:30 p.m. on Monday, April 12. There is a limit of 1 submission per household.
The lottery will be held via Zoom on Thursday, April 15, at 11 a.m.. All applicants will receive a link and call-in number to watch or listen to the drawing live. The contracts will be sent out to all the lottery winners immediately following the drawing and must be received with payment no later than 5: p.m. on Friday, April 30.
