Jerry Amadeo, Owned Miele’s
Mr. Jerry Amadeo, 86, died on Friday, March 12, 2021 at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Paterson. Services were private.
Born in Glen Ridge, Mr. Amadeo lived in Little Falls and Montclair before moving to Verona where he lived for over 30 years.
He was the proud owner of Miele’s Restaurant and Pizzeria on Bloomfield Avenue in Verona for 30 years, retiring in 2006. He was also a member of the New Jersey National Guard.
Mr. Amadeo was predeceased by his wife, Joann (nee Spence) Amadeo; his son, Dennis Amadeo; his parents, Joseph and Concetta (nee Baio) Amadeo and his sister, Florence Wells.
He is survived by his son, Steven Amadeo; granddaughter, Jennifer Antolino (Matt); and great-granddaughters, Madelyn and Mallory Antolino.
In his memory, donations to Verona Rescue Squad, 12 Church Street, Verona, NJ 07044 would be greatly appreciated.
