There are many places to get a pizza in Verona and, this week, 11 eateries will be competing in Verona’s first-ever Pizza Fest.
Sponsored by the Verona Chamber of Commerce, Pizza Fest kicks off today, Sunday, January 24, and runs through Saturday, January 30. Participating eateries include Ariane Kitchen & Bar, Avenue Bistro, Bagelwich, Bella Gente, Blue Hippo, Borino’s Pizza, Frank Anthony’s, Jack’s Cafe, Lakeside Deli, Pizza Terminal, and The Verona Inn.
Each participating business has taken its own approach to pizza, which is why the menus feature everything from pizza bagels to pizza soup. At the end of the week, the Chamber will ask residents to select their favorites in the following categories: Best Traditional, Best Non-Traditional and Most Creative.
