This Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Verona High School’s Spotlight Players will re-create the 1938 radio drama “The War of the Worlds” over the internet. For one nominal ticket price, your entire household can listen in.
Tickets to one of the four streaming sessions are $5 and the show will be streamed through Broadway On Demand. Follow this link to purchase your ticket.
Show times are Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 7:30 p.m., with an additional Saturday matinee session at 2 p.m.
Only one ticket is necessary to listen on a device, so gather your family around the speaker like it’s 1938 and enjoy some interplanetary warfare.
Monday, December 7, is the last day to order dinner to accompany your show. The Spotlight Players have arranged for three locally owned food businesses to create special meals for pickup in Verona. You can view the menu and the order form here.
