VFEE Sets Coat Drive
The Verona Foundation For Educational Excellence (VFEE) is teaming up with One Warm Coat to hold a coat drive and VFEE needs your help.
Did you know, because of the Covid-19 pandemic, an estimated 40 million Americans are unemployed? Prior to the pandemic, one in eight American households were already living in poverty. In every corner of the United States, families are struggling – and the need for warmer clothing, combined with increased utility costs, will make the winter months more challenging for those with already-strapped budgets.
Here’s how you can help:
1. Donate coats to VFEE’s drive. From December 2 to December 30, contact VFEE to donate gently worn coats. All coats collected will be donated locally to people in need. All sizes welcome – adult and child. Please make sure they are clean.
2. Contact [email protected] for pickup (anywhere in Verona) or drop off in driveway at 6 Belleclaire Place, Verona.
3. Follow VFEE on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter.
The mission of VFEE is to maintain an extra margin of excellence by employing private resources to supplement traditional school funding.
