Juniors Donate $10K To Rescue Squad
The Verona Rescue Squad is an all-volunteer first responder team that exists solely because of community donations, which makes the latest donation from the Junior Woman’s Club of Verona significant.
Earlier this summer, the Juniors donated $10,000 to the Verona Rescue Squad. “We are incredibly grateful for the extraordinary donation as it will go to help our organization fulfill our mission,” the VRS wrote recently on its Facebook page, when it shared a photo of the donation. The photo includes VRS Chief Frederick Tempesta and President Cassie Jung, and Juniors members Amanda Mioli, Yvonne Nolan and Shannon Curtin. “We encourage all of the Verona residents to look into the Junior Woman’s Club of Verona not only to learn more about the incredible organization, but to also consider donating to another crucial Verona non-profit.”
The Junior Woman’s Club of Verona was founded in 1926 and has been a community service organization ever since, providing donations to a wide variety of local groups and individuals in need, as well as scholarships to high school seniors.
