Since early July, Max Morden has brought musicians to his front lawn to play Sousa and jazz. This weekend, he’s taking the music in a new direction: polkas and waltzes.

The “Morden Music Manor” pop-up concert will be held on Saturday, August 1, at 6:30 p.m. and the invited musicians will be playing cornet, clarinet, baritone and tenor horns, accordion, tuba and drums. Morden’s front yard is on Brookside, just off Linden.

“Grab a mug, your dancing shoes, and give a listen as we play a few,” Morden says.

If you can’t be there in person, Morden says the concert will be live-streamed through his Facebook page.
