Yesterday, Dana Wynne became the third member of the Wynne family to win at “Doors Of Verona,” correctly guessing that it was Say I Do Bridal Boutique. The bridal and special event dress shop has coming to occupy a special place in Verona, for the range of dresses and tailoring services it offers, as well as for its support of the community. In February, Say I Do Bridal Boutique donated 25 dresses to a dress drive for Appalachia that had been organized by two Verona High School seniors.
For her winning guess, Dana won a $25 gift certificate to Bagelwich. MyVeronaNJ is spending $1,000 to buy gift certificates from Verona businesses to give to contest winners.
There are six members of the Wynne family and they have been treating “Doors Of Verona” as a team sport. “We anxiously start checking for the post at 11,” says dad Matt Wynne. “Once the picture comes out, we drop what we are doing, run out the door, and all six of us get on our bikes and explore the town for the door. Sometimes we split up to cover more ground, and sometimes we stay together.”
The time for all of you to start guessing is now because the May 6 photo is above. The gift certificate will be to Vival Wellness Center, which opened in Verona early this year. Put your guesses in the Comments box below and, if you have won before, you can’t win again.
