Five minutes: That was the difference between success and failure in the April 21 “Doors Of Verona” contest. Kathleen Nagy submitted the winning guess–Avenue Bistro Pub–at at 11:46 a.m. and five minutes later, Colin Boyle had the same idea. For her speedy work, Kathleen got a $25 gift certificate from JT’s Barber Shop. Colin will need to follow JT’s on Instagram for its home haircut tips.

Avenue Bistro, like all Verona restaurants, has had to pivot during the COVID-19 pandemic. It is now open Tuesday to Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. for curbside pickup or delivery only, and it has posted a temporary menu to its Facebook page. We all hope to be back on its patio soon.

Today’s photo for “Doors Of Verona” is above, and today’s winner will get a $25 gift certificate to the Anthony Robert Salon. MyVeronaNJ.com is spending $1,000 to buy gift certificates from Verona businesses to award to our winners.
