The Verona Board of Education is holding an off-schedule meeting tonight, Thursday, April 2, so that it can vote on referendum bids to keep that work on track. But because of the outbreak of the novel coronavirus COVID-19 the meeting will be held via conference call.
The public can call into the meeting at (857) 799-9782. When the meeting is opened to public participation you can just press * (star) 6 on your key pad, then the number 1 when prompted and you will be placed in queue. When you are advised it is your turn to address the board, please state your name and address for the record. After you ask your question, the BOE or the superintendent will respond.
The bids that will be voted on tonight are for re-roofing all school buildings, as well as windows, doors and other items. You can see the full agenda here.
