Mark Dean Leuzarder, 67, of Chester, N.J. passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at home. Dean was born on July 29, 1952 in Verona. He has lived in Chester for the past 39 years and previously lived in Stanhope, N.J. Dean was the president and partner with his wife at United Enviro Systems in Flanders, N.J.

Dean was always seen around town with his camera and was passionate about photography. He would take pictures of anything and anybody. Dean loved the Chester Volunteer Fire Company, he enjoyed spending time at the fire house and taking pictures for the department. Dean was the best friend, an amazing partner, and “Bonehead” to his wife Phyllis.

Dean is survived by his wife “Bunny” of 40 years, Phyllis Leuzarder, his siblings, John Leuzarder and wife Susan, Linda Leuzarder, and Justin Ripley Leuzarder, many loving nieces and nephews, his best friend, Angelo Bolio, and his dogs, Bella and Babe. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Margaret, and brother, William Tim Leuzarder.

In accord with the recently issued state regulations, a Celebration of Dean’s Life will be held at a later date.
