Virtual Library Services For Teens

While the Verona Public Library might be physically closed, it is still offering virtual events and services for teens and tweens.

The Anime & Comics Club meets Wednesdays at 3:30 p.m. via Discord. The Anime & Comics club will discuss Anime, Manga, Comics, cosplay and more. Verona Library Card holders in grades 5 and up can request an invitation to the club’s Discord server here: https://www.veronalibrary.org/discord-server-invite-request/.

The Gamers’ Club meets on Thursdays at 3:30 p.m. via Discord to chat while playing Minecraft, Roblox, Nintendo Switch and other video and computer games. Verona Library Card holders in grades 5 and up can request an invitation to the club’s Discord server here: https://www.veronalibrary.org/discord-server-invite-request/.

There are some fun challenges offered online during the quarantine period including a weekly Craft Challenge and Virtual Scavenger Hunts. You can visit the library’s Teen Page and follow it on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for more information about these challenges.
