The drop in mortgage rates may make home buying more attractive than ever for some buyers: A 30-year fixed-rate mortgage fell to 3.50% last week, while a 15-year fixed fell to 2.92%. But realtors are being strongly advised to forego open houses, so there are none in Verona this weekend.
