Mr. Elmer William Graf, 79, died on February 25, 2020 in Livingston. Memorial visiting will be in the Prout Funeral Home, 370 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona on Saturday, March 7, 2020 from 2 to 4 p.m. with a Fireman’s Exempt Service at 3:45 p.m.

Born in Elizabeth, Mr. Graf grew up in South Orange and lived in West Orange before moving to Verona in 1949.

He worked as a licensed electrician for the Electrical Workers Union Local #164 in Paramus for 36 years and volunteered with Company 1 of the Verona Volunteer Fire Department for seven years, receiving exempt status in 1977.

Mr. Graf was predeceased by his parents, Elmer W. Graf and Louise (nee Schuster) Graf and his sister, June Boschen.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Linda (nee Cheek) Graf; his loving children, Jonathan Graf (and his girlfriend, Lynne) and Karla L. Perez (and her husband, Luis); cherished granddaughter, Sabrina Perez and grandson, Luis Perez.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Verona Volunteer Fire Department, 880 Bloomfield Ave., Verona, NJ 07044 would be appreciated.
