Last weekend, Verona Troop 2 in competed in an Arctic Challenge at Camp Glen Gray, an 800-acre reservation in the Ramapo Mountains near Mahwah.

Two spirited patrols, the “Nuclear Doritos” and “Angry Flaming Potatoes” set off with sleds to test their outdoor survival and teamwork skills against each other and several Boy Scout Troops from the area.

Preserving the feel of a wintertime event, snow fell during the entire Arctic Challenge!
