The Verona Police Department is letting residents know that, due to the impending snowstorm, there will be no overnight street parking tonight. The VPD says we should make every effort to keep our vehicles on our property, but if we can’t, we can park in Municipal Lot 1 (behind the former Terry’s Drugs) in a non-permit space.

If vehicles are left on the roadway, they will be ticketed and/or towed. And the police are asking everyone to not move vehicles back onto the streets until they have been fully cleared by the Department of Public Works.

Finally, per township ordinance §125-7, do not put any snow cleared from your property into the street. Sidewalks must be cleared within 24 hours of storm’s end.
