Rosemary (Macfarlane) Healy of Narberth, Pa. passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2019 after a short and courageous battle with cancer at the age of 60. She is the loving mother of Kevin Healy and his wife Jordan, Mary Healy, Noelle Healy and Gabrielle Healy. Survived by her former husband, John Healy. Rosemary is the daughter of William “Bud” Macfarlane, Sr. and Patricia (Mack) Macfarlane. She is the sister of Aprilanne Hurley, Elizabeth (Beth) McKiever, William “Bud” Macfarlane, Patricia Kissinger, Maria Kudlick, Joseph Macfarlane, Geraldine Bergan, Maureen Tracy, Angela Andolino, and Catherine (Cathy) Breen.

Rosemary was born on March 12, 1959 in Newark. She graduated from Verona High School and Fairfield University. She dedicated her professional life to a variety of career paths which brought her joy and allowed her to explore the world.

Ro loved traveling and lived for meeting new people and going on adventures- whether it was hikes, social gatherings, the beach, or simply being in nature. She was dedicated to helping others heal and had a magical way of helping people to identify “the gift” in the challenges of life. Ro always found a way to see the beauty and good in things. She loved laughing with family and friends and brought light and love to all those around her. Ro was best known for her butterscotch cake, gravity chairs, and bags of endless goodies. She will be missed by all but never forgotten.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Friday, January 3, 2020 from 6 to 9 p.m. in the Funeral Home of John Stretch, 236 East Eagle Road Havertown, Pa., and Saturday, January 4, 2020 from 10 am to 10:45 a.m. in St. Margaret’s Church, 204 North Narberth Avenue Narberth, Pa., and to her Funeral Mass following at 11 a.m. The interment will be private to the family.
