It took 3 1/2 days, but Michele Shilling-Beaulac finally came up with the right answer to the first week of the rebooted “Where In Verona Is It?” contest: Anthony Francos Pizza. Under the contest rules, Michele can’t win again, so the challenge of the new week of clues is now on the rest of you.
Every day this week, we’ll be posting a few shots by our intrepid photographer Fred Goode of someplace else in Verona, and you’ll get to guess where it is. We’re only posting the clues here on the site (not on MyVeronaNJ.com’s social media), and you’ll need to post your guesses here in our comments section. You must post under your real name and email address, so we know who to reach with the weekly prize: A MyVeronaNJ.com T-shirt.
If nobody gets the correct answer by Friday night, Fred is the winner. He won once in the 52 weeks of the first contest, but he’s gotten craftier since then. Good luck!

Under the rules of the new contest, Beth Shorten now can’t guess on the remaining three weeks of clues. Good luck to the rest of you, and look for the new clues on Monday, January 6.
Wise guys collectables.
Understandable choice, given the toys. But Beth Shorten actually won the contest about 40 minutes after the new photos went up this morning by correctly guessing that the location is Olive That & More.
New contest starts Monday!
