The Verona Police Department has sent out a Nixle alert to say that state contractors are going to begin milling and paving Pompton Avenue from the Bloomfield Avenue intersection all the way to Ridge Road. That’s the full stretch of Pompton in Verona. The VPD says to expect delays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Monday through Wednesday.
