Marching Band Earns Gold, Soloists Honored

The Verona Marching Maroon and White finished their second-to-last competitive performance of “Rings” at the New Jersey Music Educators Association Marching Band Festival at Wayne Hills High School with an energetic and invigorating performance. The band took the highest rating of “Gold”, additionally, Olivia Tedesco (Visual) and Anna Konrad-Parisi (Saxophone) were recognized as outstanding soloists.

The band now enters championship week as Verona High School will host the NJSMA Marching Band Competition this Saturday, October 26. The show starts at 5:30 p.m. and Verona performs at 7:51 p.m.
