Football’s opening day is still a few weeks away, but the Verona High School football team is getting ready for the 2019 season with a car wash fundraiser. It will be held this Saturday, August 17, from noon to 3 p.m. in the horseshoe in front of H.B. Whitehorne Middle School. You can get a bite to eat while your car is being wash because the team will have a hot dog cart there as well.
All of the proceeds will go to the team.
