The Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit will host another Bingo fundraising event on Friday, June 21, at 7 p.m., this time to benefit its food pantry.

Holy Spirit kicked off its Bingo fundraisers last month with a sold-out event to benefit the Verona Fire Department.

Doors open for the June 21 event at 6 p.m. The entrance fee, with sheets for 10 games, is $20 and the first number is called at 7 p.m. Additional set of sheets may be purchased for $15, and extra sheets for Holy Spirit’s cover-all game (Game #10) can be purchased for $5. Snacks and beverages will be available for purchase, and players are welcome to bring their own food. No alcohol is allowed and players must be 18 years old to play Bingo.

Holy Spirit created its food pantry in 2016. It is open from 9 to 11 a.m. on the fourth Saturday of every month, which means the next open date is June 22. Anyone in need is welcome. If you need assistance in an emergency before this date, contact the church office at [email protected] or leave a voicemail at (973) 239-2850 to make arrangements. The church works to ensure the anonymity of food pantry shoppers. Donations for the food pantry can be left at any time in the bin by the church’s side entrance.
