Boys Lacrosse Beats Pequannock

Jarrod Keating fired in four goals as the Verona High School boys lacrosse team beat Pequannock 9-6 at home on Friday.

Jerry Strippli had two goals and an assist, while Jack Lonsinger had one goal and four assists. Nick Socci and Brendan Erwin had one goal apiece. Rich DiGeronimo won 14 of his 18 faceoffs and also had five ground balls. Harrison Keating was in goal for Verona and had 16 saves.

The win improves the Hillbillies’ record to 10-5 overall and they remain undefeated in league, with a 7-0 record. The boys will host Morris Catholic for Verona’s Senior Night game on Monday. The festivities begin at 6 p.m.
