The Verona Public Library kicks off a new series called “Board Game Club” on Saturday, April 27, from 3 to 5 p.m. The first game will be a modern board game classic: Ticket To Ride.
Ticket to Ride is a cross-country train adventure where players collect cards and claim railway routes connecting U.S. cities. A perfect family game, Ticket To Ride is easy to learn for kids ages 10 and up, yet challenging enough for adults to enjoy as well.
This event is open to people of all ages, but children under 14 should be accompanied by an adult. The library will teach you to play.
Already know and love Ticket To Ride? Come and learn how to play one of the other maps in the TTR series: New York, Europe, India, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Nordic countries or Africa. The library will have them all on hand.
Registration is not required, but you can reserve a seat at the game table by emailing [email protected].
