Backpacks For Life, the charity started by Verona native Brett D’Alessandro, was recently nominated to compete for a $25,000 grant from a veteran-owned business called StreetShares. Backpacks For Life is currently in second place and today, Wednesday, April 3, is the last day for voting.
D’Alessandro is asking the Verona community to vote by midnight tonight and share this appeal with your family, friends, colleagues and your network.
