The Verona Park Conservancy is holding its biannual Spring Verona Park Clean-Up on Saturday, April 13, from 9 to 11 a.m. and needs your help. Volunteers should bring their own gloves and meet near the boathouse at Verona Park.
All are welcome! The rain date is Saturday, April 27.
The writers, editors and photographers of MyVeronaNJ.com are a part of Verona, just like you. We live here, we work here, we play here, we shop here. We send our kids to Verona schools and we volunteer for many of the same activities you do. The company we have created is based here, not somewhere else in New Jersey or across the country.

We former Jaycees are honored that the VPC continues the tradition that was started by the Verona Jaycees in the mid 1990’s. Even though there was just a handful of us remaining (20) due to decreased membership, many Verona citizens, young and old pitched in and cleaned the park annually for a number of years thereafter. Soon after the chapter dissolved, the VPC immediately took over the task and since has done a tremendous job with there unselfish efforts.
