Almost from the moment it premiered in 1965, “A Charlie Brown Christmas” has been a holiday TV classic. Now, it’s been adapted for the stage and Verona’s Griffin Willner is playing the part of Linus, the character who knows what Christmas is really all about.

The show is at Studio Playhouse in Upper Montclair on December 8, 9, 15 and 16, but you’re going to have to act fast to get tickets to the family-friendly show. All tickets are sold out on December 8, but there are spots for the 3:30 p.m. show on December 9. On December 15, there are tickets available for both the 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. shows, but on December 16, only 1:30 p.m. has availability.

Tickets are $12 and can be ordered at Brown Paper Tickets or by calling the Studio Playhouse office at 973-744-9752. Studio Playhouse is located at 14 Alvin Place, close to the Acme supermarket on Valley Road.
