The clergy leaders of four Verona houses of worship will sponsor an Interfaith Thanksgiving Service on Sunday, November 18, at 3 p.m. at Our Lady of the Lake Church. The service will feature a joint choir including Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church, First Presbyterian Church of Verona, the Verona Islamic Center and the Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit.
The service will include scripture readings from Jewish, Islamic and Christian traditions, as well as music related to Thanksgiving. Attendees are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food or toiletry item to be donated to the Holy Spirit Verona Food Pantry.
