The Week Ahead: Oct. 14-20, 2018

Verona starts this week fighting hunger and fighting suicide, but gets a break on Thursday because it is the Verona Municipal Alliance Committee’s fall Family Night, an evening with no homework or sports commitments. Saturday will be busy, with football’s Senior Day game, the Woman’s Club’s town-wide garage sale and an evening social for sports parents.

Monday, October 15
Tennis: Girls varsity vs. Pequannock, 4 p.m., at Pequannock
Soccer: Boys varsity ECT Tournament prelim vs. Orange, 6 p.m. at VHS upper field
Town Council meeting, 7-10 p.m., Town Hall

Tuesday, October 16
Tennis: Girls varsity vs. Mount Saint Dominic, 4 p.m., at VHS
Volleyball vs. West Orange, 4 p.m., at West Orange

Wednesday, October 17
Cross Country Invitational vs. Nutley, 4 p.m., at Yantacaw Park
Soccer: Girls varsity ECT Tournament vs. Livingston, 4 p.m., at Livingston
Volleyball vs. Bogota, 7 p.m., at Bogota
