The Verona Conference of SCAs will hold its second annual Food Truck Festival this Sunday, October 7, from 1 to 6 p.m. in the parking lot at Verona High School.
Organizers say there will be 14 food trucks participating, including Aroy-D Thai Elephant Truck, Bro-Ritos Food Truck, Carnivale Donut Bar, Cheese Between, Cubano X-Press, Empanada Lady Food Truck, Kona Ice, Koro Koro Rice Ball Cafe, McGovern’s Tavern, Oink and Moo BBQ, and The Guac Spot.
Several local bands will be playing throughout the day, including Acousticamusicnj, The Defending Champions, 3WAY, The Dad Band and Guitar Center.
Entry tickets are $5 for adults, but kids are free. The cost of all the food you will buy is, of course, on you. You’ll need separate tickets for the inflatables and touch-a-truck areas, which are $10 per child. You can purchase tickets ahead of time online and all proceeds go to the Verona public schools.
Parking will be limited at the high school, but there will be a free shuttle from the Verona Pool parking lot. The rain date is Sunday, October 14.
The Verona Food Truck festival is an event hosted by the Verona Conference of SCAs, which is a parent volunteer organization.
