The Verona High School cheerleaders will hold their annual Cheer for a Cure fundraiser for breast cancer on Wednesday, October 10, at 6:30 p.m. at VHS.
The event features VHS varsity and JV cheerleaders, Verona Eagles Minis, the Verona Competitive Cheer team and all Eagles cheerleaders.
All proceeds will be donated to Minette’s Angels, a Verona non-profit that helps breast cancer patients and their families. The foundation helps women in treatment, supports research and promotes breast health awareness. It also offers scholarships to Verona students entering the medical field, particularly nursing majors, to honor the late Minette Grosso McKenna, who was a nurse.
