It’s racing season in Branch Brook Park, and Verona’s boys and girls cross country teams are showing themselves to be leaders of the pack. Junior Jenika Ying was first in her race in both meets, while David Navarro led the results as several VHS boys placed in the top ten. Frank and Nick Riggio combined for three touchdowns as Verona defeated Boonton on Friday night. The win was the second for VHS’ new head coach. See more game photos and highlights here.
