Mrs. Evelyn K. Landgraf, 98, died on August 8, 2018 in Glen Ridge. Visiting in the Prout Funeral Home, 370 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona will be on Monday, August 13 from 4 to 7 p.m. Services will be held in the First Presbyterian Church of Verona, 10 Fairview Avenue on Tuesday at 11 a.m.

Born in Flemington, N.J., Mrs. Landgraf lived in Verona prior to moving to Caldwell 51 years ago. She was the secretary to the superintendant of the Mahwah Schools prior to her marriage.

Mrs. Landgraf was a member of the Garden State Concert Band, the Verona Chorus, the Bloomfield Civic Band, a volunteer for Meals on Wheels and was known for her cooking and was a great seamstress and mom.

She was the wife of 68 years to the late John F. Landgraf and is survived by her daughters, Carynn Kelley (and her husband, George Katz) and Lorinda Cherry. She is also survived by her grandson, Zachary Alvey.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter would be appreciated.
