Verona Adult Recreation Soccer (VARS) is hosting an 8v8 Soccer Tournament on Thursday, July 26 at 8:00 p.m. at Centennial Field. To be eligible to play, you must be 18 or older and registered in the Tuesday/Thursday VARS program. Go to the Verona Recreation website and register for free.
To enter, provide your contact information, players’ names (max 10-player roster), team shirt color, and $100 entry fee (cash or check; all checks payable to Verona High School Girls Soccer). You can bring entry information to VARS on Tuesday or Thursday nights or drop off your entry information and payment to Paul Mathewson at 11 Wilton Terrace, Verona. The first eight teams to register and deliver entry fees will be accepted. Deadline for entry is Tuesday, July 24.
You do not need to play to donate. All contributions and entry fees go directly to the Verona High School girls soccer program to support the new freshman team. Click here for complete details.
