Metzger Tapped For All-Star Baseball Game

We can’t promise that you’ll be able to see him even in you squint, but Verona High School senior Ian Metzger was out there on the the field at Diamond Nation for the NJSIAA 2018 Senior All-Star Game this past Tuesday. Metzger was picked as one of the 100 best senior baseball players in the state, and played for the Northwest team. All players played in their high school uniforms, and everyone got time at bat and in the field. Metzger who earned 1st Team All Liberty Division Honors for his regular season play this year, will be playing baseball next spring at Southern New Hampshire University, a Division II program.
