The Verona High School swim team is a pay-to-play team that receives no funding from the Verona Board of Education. Proceeds from this event will be used to offset the swimmer participation fee and make the team accessible for all interested swimmers.

The VHS swim team had its inaugural season this past winter, with 22 swimmers of all levels and ability participating. The team was surprisingly competitive against long-standing high school teams, turning in several first place and top three individual and relay finishes.
