The New Jersey freestyle state qualifiers were held at Toms River today. Michael Garcia of Verona took second place in the junior division and Antonio Cuffari of Cedar Grove took third in the cadet division. Dean Palmer and Tyler Dacosta of Verona and Vin Sciacca of Caldwell also participated.
The boys all train at Cordoba Trained wrestling school in Little Falls under Whalid Hogan, freestyle world champion, and Dave Cordoba New Jersey state champion and four-time state finalist.
