Verona resident Joshua Talbot was recently chosen to represent MIT on the the foil second team of the Northeast Fencing Conference (NFC) All-Star Team. Talbot’s tally of 21-7 resulted in MIT’s first Foil All-Star since 2012.
Talbot is a graduate of Montclair Kimberley Academy, and fenced for MKA. He was second team All State his senior year. Talbot also trained at Rising Stars Fencing Academy in Little Falls.
The MIT Engineers fencing team returns to action on Saturday, February 24, when they travel to Mount Holyoke College for the New England Championship.
