Mr. George S. Devlin, 76, died at Atria in The Solana in Roseland on December 9, 2017. Visiting in the Prout Funeral Home, 370 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona will be on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. A funeral mass will be offered in Our Lady of the Lake Church, Verona on Wednesday at 10 a.m.

Born and raised in Montclair, Mr. Devlin lived in Verona for the past 44 years.

He worked as a construction laborer for the Montclair Laborers Union, Local 694 for 33 years before retiring in 2003.

Mr. Devlin was the beloved son of the late Edward J. Devlin, Sr. and Grace A. Devlin much loved brother of John Devlin, James Devlin, Suzanne Swanson, Mary Ellen Joy, Isabelle Desposito, Patricia McCormick, and Theresa McGee. He was also the cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Edward Devlin. Jr. and Thomas Devlin and sisters, Eileen Calia and Catherine DiRoma.

In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Barnabas Hospice would be appreciated.
