This holiday season, the Junior Woman’s Club of Verona encourages area residents to be Santa for a day by supporting the club’s Adopt-A-Family wish tree event.

Wish trees will be set up by Thursday, November 30, in local establishments including the Verona Public Library, Verona Community Center, Verona Yoga, Terry’s Pharmacy, Diamond Gymnastics, Executive Kids, Verona Diner, and Nail Art.

Each wish tree includes ornaments with requests for holiday gifts from families struggling to make ends meet this holiday season. All gift donations will benefit Verona children whose parents need help making the holiday season a special one. Donations of gift cards to Amazon, ShopRite, Target and local Verona restaurants are also appreciated.

The wish trees will remain at the participating locations until Wednesday, December 13. For more information, please contact Laura Garnet (516) 445-1087 or [email protected].
