On Thursday, November 2, the Junior Woman’s Club of Verona will host a presentation on internet safety for parents. The program will take place at Verona High School at 7 p.m.
Detective Sergeant Paul Sciortino with the New Jersey State Police Digital Technology Investigation Unit will give a candid look at challenges parents face when children go online. Parents will leave with the newest tools and latest strategies to keep your child safer from online predators.
Questions addressed will include:
- Do you know the latest apps that predators use to target kids?
- Do you know how to identify and prevent inappropriate texting?
- Do you want to know how to better monitor what your children are doing online?
