St. Catherine’s To Host 5K, Fun Run

On Saturday, October 28, St. Catherine of Siena Parish will host a USATF-Grand Prix 5K and Fun-Fit Mile. At 9:15 a.m., the 5K starts at Cedar Grove High School, goes through suburban streets on exclusively paved roadway with downhills to gather steam and uphills to challenge your skills, and finishes at the 50-yard line of CGHS’ beautiful new track. The Fun-Fit Mile–four laps around the high school track — begins at 8:45 a.m.; participants may walk all or part of the mile. Non-run-or-walk supporters are encouraged to register as a walker and simply come, pick up your T-thirt and cheer on participants as they cross the finish line! Supporters may also sponsor a runner or walker.

Entry Fee: $ 30 by Oct. 26 ($27 USATF) for either event, all ages.
Fee on Race Day: $35 for all. Registration is not available on October 27.
October 28 Check-In/ Registration/Packet Pick-Up: 7:30 a.m.; rain or shine, no refunds.
Runner Awards Ceremony: 10:30 a.m.
Participant Amenities: T-shirt (guaranteed to participants registered by Oct. 1), Bag Check, Amenities Bag, Refreshments.

The event is professionally organized and administered by Barwick Marketing & Events Group, a firm with 25+ years experience working over 40 races annually, to include NYC Marathon, NYC Half Marathon, Ridgewood Run and J.P.Morgan Corporate Challenge Series.

The Event beneficiary is the St. Catherine of Siena Heritage Fund, which enables an enhanced level of programs, services and campus facilities to ensure a vibrant future for the Parish.
