Learn about the Canfields who owned the farm from 1845 until 1910 when they sold it to the Morgan family. The farm stayed in the Morgan family until Courtenay Morgan deeded the land and the farmhouse to the Township of Cedar Grove in 1985.

Some of the land has been turned into a park and, more recently, returned to farming by Verona residents John and Julie Ostering, who are members of the Cedar Grove Historical Society. Produce grown with organic practices is sold each Saturday from 9 a.m to 1 p.m. from the end of May to the end of October.

The Cedar Grove Public Library is located at One Municipal Plaza, behind the firehouse on Pompton Avenue.
