Today is Verona’s annual Green Fair and Town-Wide Garage Sale, two great examples of environmentalists’ mantra to reduce, re-use and recycle. Real estate also gets recycled in Verona, where re-modeling and rehabbing still thankfully outweigh tear-downs and rebuilding. That’s one of the benefits of having a public school system that families keep wanting to re-use, generation after generation.

One note: If you buy in Verona, you will have to get used to having your house identified by the name of its previous owner. We recycle those too.
